Analysis of the transportation environment of float glass market

From the ancient Silk Road to the Western Heaven, and today's "Belt and Road", the concept of logistics runs through it. Logistics is composed of two basic elements: “material” and “flow”, but it is not a simple combination. It also creates time value, place value and processing value. And transportation is the core of carrying the overall logistics.
For the float glass market, Shahe is an important production area. Over the years, with low manufacturing costs and low transportation cost advantages, the production areas have been lost all over the country (with the change of regional market, some regions have staged The goods are broken.) The Shahe supply is mainly transported by steam, and the freight rate is relatively low compared to other regions. There are three main reasons: First, Shahe glass production enterprises, logistics companies are relatively concentrated, and long-term transportation of glass trucks is sufficient; Second, environmental protection continues to increase this year, limited supply of raw materials such as quartz sand in Hebei, external raw materials The demand has increased, and there are more goods coming and going, and after the logistics company gets the project, it continues to have good profitability. Third, after the overload inspection last year, the vehicle supply is tight, the number continues to increase, and there is currently a surplus. The integration of the above three aspects has led to greater pressure on logistics competition in the Shahe area, and the cost of steam transportation is significantly lower than other regions.
In addition to Shahe, the Central China region, especially Hubei, relies on lower cost (lower environmental protection pressure) and convenient low-cost water transportation. The production capacity has been expanded year by year, becoming another production area of float glass. The products are transported through the Yangtze River basin. To the East and Southwest regions, and to the South China region by car. The high cost of motor transportation and the increase in the cost of motor transportation last year have led to relatively few shipments to South China in recent years. More sources were sent to Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces through cheaper prices. After the sharp increase in the price of steam transportation last year, the water transport price did not follow the increase. The total water freight and loading and unloading costs in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions remained at 100 yuan / ton.
In other regions, due to the relative dispersion of manufacturers, the pressure of logistics competition is small, the cost of motor transportation is relatively high, but the consumption is relatively good. At the same time, the capacity of the southwest region has continued to increase in recent years, self-supply capacity has increased, and dependence on external sources has continued to decline. At present, there is a certain inflow of goods from Central China, and only a small amount of goods are flowing in North China and Northwest China.
The top three factors that hinder the development of logistics enterprises in the past three years are the high labor cost, high tax burden and high land cost. The profitability of logistics companies has been relatively obvious since last year. Supported by cost, Zhuo Chuang believes that the freight rate of float glass will remain at a relatively high level in the future.
